Alphonce Barrack

Alphonce Barrack is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B, Second Class Honours Upper Division) from Riara University and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Alphonce was instructed as a pupil partly in the firm of Omondi Mutava & Company Advocates/Lexlink Consulting and partly in the firm of Prof. Tom Ojienda & Associates. Prior to joining Strathmore Law School, Alphonce practiced law as a Legal Associate in the firm of Gitahi Munyi & Associates for a period of two years.

Alphonce is also a former Research Fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal School of Law. As a Research Fellow at the University of Kwazulu Natal, Alphonce made significant research contributions to the DS-I Africa Law Project: a research initiative focused on the legal dimensions of using data science for health discovery and innovation in Africa.

He currently serves as a committee member of the Law Society of Kenya Committee on Land and Climate Justice.

Alphonce has keen interest in Commercial Law (International Commercial Law and Financial Regulations), Legal Theory and Legal Research.
