Carol Mutung’a-Kariuki is a consultant with wealth of experience in administration, project management, business development and systems improvement. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the university, teaching Legal Practice Management.

Carol is a qualified Advocate and has worked at two of Kenya’s top law firms, Hamilton Harrison & Mathews Advocates (4 years), where she was involved in improving the Knowledge Management Systems and at Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates (4 years) where she took on the role of Manager, Special Projects, and through it spearheaded several system improving measures. Carol has also worked as Change Manager at ALN (formerly known as Africa Legal Network), a network of top-tier law firms from twelve jurisdictions across Africa.

Carol is a graduate of University of Denver, Sturm Law College, where she completed her Master of Science in Legal Administration (MSLA) (2016). She is also a graduate of the global 10,000 Women program by Goldman Sachs in USIU-Africa.

With over 15 years’ experience working with and for law firms, she offers a unique perspective on their operational challenges.
