Charles Kanjama

Charles Kanjama is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya of more than 20 years standing. He is a Senior Counsel after conferment of the honour in 2022. He is the Managing Partner of Muma & Kanjama Advocates and Head of their Disputes Department. He is an avid litigator in all levels of the courts and tribunals in Kenya. He also provides various legal consultancy services to both individual & corporate clients, both in the private & public sector.

He was the inaugural Chair of Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi Branch (2016-20) as well as of the LSK Caucus of Branch Chairs (2017-20). He also previously served as LSK Council Member & Treasurer (2012-14).

Kanjama is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya (F.CIArb), a Certified Professional Mediator, a Certified Secretary & a Certified Accountant. He is the current chair of the Nairobi Legal Awards Trust, an organisation founded by LSK Nairobi to promote & recognise legal excellence among lawyers, law firms and legal departments.
He is the current chair of the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF), which brings together diverse professionals from various Christian denominations to champion family values. He is also Vice Chair of Africa Christian Professionals Forum (ACPF).
