Colins Mugo

Colins Mugo is a Graduate Assistant at Strathmore Law School, where he supports faculty in teaching, research, and student mentorship. He is academically trained in law at the University of Nairobi, with interests spanning corporate law, international finance, and development.

Colins is also attached to the Strathmore Tax Research Center, where he contributes to ongoing research on tax law and policy. He has gained practical legal experience as a legal intern at DLA Piper Africa (Kenya), where he worked on matters including corporate and project finance. He has also contributed to policy-oriented research through his work with the Committee on Fiscal Studies. In addition, he has been involved in a variety of rule-of-law projects covering different areas of legal practice.

His current research interests lie in international finance, project finance, cross-border transactions, and development-oriented finance in Africa.
