Dr. Lynette Osiemo holds a Doctorate in Law (PhD) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, where her research focused on securing corporate accountability for human rights violations in Kenya. She also holds a Master’s in Commercial Law (LLM) from the same institution and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya graduate and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Dr. Osiemo has a diverse range of professional experiences. She has served as a Part-time Lecturer at St. Augustine College of South Africa and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Strathmore Law School. Her research endeavors took her to the University of Pretoria, where she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow researching on the role that law clinics and legal incubators can play in advancing legal education in Kenya. Dr. Osiemo is also an accomplished editor and peer reviewer for reputable journals, contributing to the academic discourse in the legal field.
