
George Nyanaro
George Nyanaro is a lawyer, legal researcher, writer, and conversationalist, currently enrolled as an Advocate Trainee at the Kenya School of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with Hons (Second Class (Upper) Degree from the University of Embu. He professionally serves as a Graduate Assistant at Strathmore Law School.
Nyanaro is currently engaged in teaching and research assistantship. He is a budding researcher, having participated in various research symposia, conferences, and competitions. At SLS, George primarily assists in research, teaching, and assessing students in and out of class. He is an uprising academic with a keen interest in international dispute resolution, politics, peace, crisis management, communication, and conflict studies.
George also holds various certifications having taken part in various trainings and fellowships. Among these include the University of Pretoria’s Short Advanced Human Rights’ Courses, McKinsey Forward Programme, Africa Climate Change Negotiation and Diplomacy, Professional Mediation Certification by the Dialogue and Dispute Resolution, Climate Change Law Course by the Climate Law and Governance Initiative, as well as Cross-Cultural Business Communication by Africa Legal.
George previously served as a Legal Compliance Officer for Lukenya University; as a secondee from MNA Law Africa, a boutique law firm situated in Westlands and offering a vast array of services to their clients.
