Nzembi focuses on research, project implementation and stakeholder engagement at the Centre and the Extractives Baraza and is a member of the technical committee for the Africa Regional Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub. She has experience in business and human rights, natural resources law and youth and innovation in the energy and extractives sector. Nzembi has competencies in working with victims of torture and violence and has been part of various community mobilization, international solidarity campaigns on human rights and lobbying the Kenyan Parliament for legislation. She has authored various reports, articles and advisories having worked in government and civil society.
