About the Event

The Law Deans’ Summit 2026 will be a forum for academic dialogue featuring Deans from Law Faculties that belong to Universities operating as corporate apostolic works of the Opus Dei. During the meeting, experiences and reflections on the main challenges of contemporary legal education will be shared, diverse perspectives will be heard, and a space for academic friendship and mutual enrichment among peers will be fostered.

Dates

Purpose

The main goal of the meeting is to foster a space for academic friendship where each faculty can benefit from the perspectives of its peers, identify ideas applicable to their own context, and strengthen their educational mission from a global and comparative perspective. The Deans will share their experiences, reflections, and learnings across four fundamental pillars: teaching in the digital age, high-impact legal research, academic internationalization, and the role of legal clinics in access to justice

Hosts

Strathmore University will host the Meeting, and Universidad de La Sabana will co-host this academic conversation forum, which seeks to renew the sense of our vocation as legal educators: training jurists capable of responding with rigor, creativity, and ethical commitment to the realities of a changing world
