Matters touching on the environment are one of the current and controversial conversations of the 21st century. This has spurred a fervent call for inventions and innovations in the design and implementation of environmental policies geared towards environmental protection and/or conservation. However, despite numerous efforts in that regard, decades of scientific monitoring indicate that the world is no closer to environmental sustainability.

Sports is becoming increasingly commercialized and commodified at the local, regional and global arena. This is because the sports industry generates a substantial amount of revenue at all these levels. In Kenya, revenue in the Sports market is projected to reach US$33.84m in 2025.
The commodification and commercialization of sports means that individuals and entities participating in local, regional and international sports require various legal services from time to time. All Kenyans have a right to the highest attainable standard of health and health services including reproductive healthcare. This right is enshrined in The Constitution of Kenya 2010 article 43(a). Further, Kenya’s long-term development plan, Vision 2030, identifies good health as part of its overall objective – to create a globally competitive and prosperous nation with a high quality of life by 2030.
