Patricia Ouma is the acting Director of the Strathmore Centre for Law and Policy, and a lecturer at Strathmore Law School specialising in the area of East African Integration Law. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Leiden where she conducted comparative research in East African and European Union law. Patricia holds an LL.M in International Business Law from Catholic University of Lyon, France, and an LL.B from the University of Nairobi. Patricia is also an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with wide law firm experience in commercial litigation around contract law, secured transactions, environmental law and insolvency. She has also published articles in the area of regional integration and insolvency law, and organised training programs for litigation lawyers on emerging issues in law and best practices of Courts
